OUR STOCKHOLM ADVENTURE

Stockholm is one of the most anticipated stops on the Reverse Polar Express, our December 2026 journey from Helsinki to Alicante.

We'll arrive by overnight ferry from Finland, sailing through the Stockholm archipelago before spending time exploring the Swedish capital. With its historic old town, waterfront views, Christmas atmosphere and famous fika culture, we're looking forward to discovering what makes Stockholm special.

But this visit isn't just about the city. Stockholm is also where the next stage of the adventure begins, as we board an overnight sleeper train to Hamburg and continue our journey south through Europe.

We'll be sharing our experiences, photographs and favourite discoveries here once we've made the journey.
